(Bloomberg Law, 12/09) The Dominican Republic must pay $2.3 million in damages for breach of contract in connection with a wind energy complex proposal, a federal judge in Florida affirmed.

Dominicana Renovables SL sued the Dominican Republic, alleging that it refused to formalize a power purchase agreement with the company after it contracted with Dominicana Renovables to develop and operate a wind energy complex in a remote area of the country.
